How are the meals delivered?
Our meals are packed in special insulation packaging. If you opt for 17:00-22:30, you will receive it in biodegradable packaging. If you choose 8:00-17:00 delivery, you will receive it in an insulation bag. Thanks to our special packaging method, we can guarantee that the meals are always delivered cooled.
I’m not at home.. Now what?
If you are not (sure if you are) home when the delivery person comes by, your package will be dropped off at your neighbors or a postal point. Also, the delivery person may choose to offer it the next day. You are responsible for making sure there is someone to take the package.
What should I do with the insulation bag?
You may discard the insulation bag or you may save 4 bags and return them in the box in which the last order was delivered. You will then receive a voucher worth €20 from us. Make sure the 4 bags are securely fastened in the box and that the bags are clean and whole. you can send it to Smart Meals, Sisalbaan 5A, 2352AZ Leiderdorp Netherlands. You can also request a return label from us and drop off the package at the nearest postal point. In this case, we will pay the shipping costs and you will receive a voucher worth €15.
Can I track my package?
Once the order is packed and shipped by us, you will receive an e-mail containing the track & trace code of your package. This allows you to track your package and see when it will be delivered. If you do not receive the email, it may be in your junk mail. The track and trace button may not appear until the courier has updated the delivery time.
How long do the meals keep?
Our meals can be stored frozen at -18°C in the freezer for 3 months. Meals can be stored for 5 days in the refrigerator.
What is the quality of the chicken?

What is the quality of the beef?

How do I prepare the meals?
You can heat the meals directly from the freezer in 5-6 minutes at 900watt. Heat in the pan for 10-12 minutes or in the oven at 220 °C for 20-25 minutes. Remove the foil before cooking.
You can also choose to keep them in the fridge. In that case, warm up in 2-3 minutes at 900 watts. Heat in the pan for 6-9 minutes or in the oven at 220 °C for 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil before cooking.
